Mr. Donohue -- the author of Stolen Child, another Prairie Lights recommendation -- returns with Angels of Destruction, his second and latest novel, and manages to surpass the first.  Click on the image to read a synopsis of the story -- all I can say is that this book will linger with you months after you've finished reading.  Several of my coworkers read this as well, and we all felt the need to talk with one another, sharing our thoughts and perceptions, asking for each other's point of view on this character or that event.  An excellent choice for book clubs, Angels is filled with great writing and an even greater sense of the mysteries that draw us as people to each other.  The best book I've read this year.
