Children's author Anne Ylvisaker will read from from her latest book, The Luck of the Buttons. A former Cedar Rapids resident and winner of the Iowa Author award, Ylvisaker is the author of Dear Papa, which Booklist named a Top Ten Youth First Novel, and Little Klein, a Book Sense Pick and winner of numerous awards, as well as 19 nonfiction books for young readers. In 2005 she was awarded the McKnight Artist Fellowship/Loft Award in Children’s Literature.
