Poets Karla Kelsey and Keetje Kuipers will read from their work. Karla Kelsey, an Iowa Writers’ Workshop graduate, will read from her new book, Iteration Nets. Kelsey was the winner of the 2006 Sawtooth Poetry Prize for her first book Knowledge, Forms, the Aviary which was selected by Carolyn Forche. She is currently on the Writing faculty at the Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania. In the spring of 2011 she will teach in Budapest as a Fulbright Lecturer.
Keetje Kuipers will read from her new book, Beautiful in the Mouth, winner of the A. Poulin, Jr. Poetry Prize. Kuipers teaches writing at the University of Montana and is currently a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. She divides her time between San Francisco and Missoula.
