Mission Creek Festival Reading: Stephen Kuusisto and Thomas Beller

As part of The Mission Creek Festival, Prairie Lights will host a reading in which Stephen Kuusisto and Thomas Beller will read from their work. Stephen Kuusisto is the author of Eavesdropping: A Memoir of Blindness and Listening, Planet of the Blind–which was a NYTimes Notable Book of the Year– and Only Bread Only Light, a collection of poems. He is a frequent commentator on National Public Radio and lectures widely on disability and public policy. He teaches Creative Non-Fiction at The University of Iowa. Thomas Beller is the author of three books, Seduction Theory, The Sleep-Over Artist, and How To Be A Man, and editor of three anthologies. He is a co-founder and editor of Open City Magazine and Books, and creator of the websites, Mr. Beller's Neighborhood, and Mapsites.net. He is a contributing editor at the Cambodia Daily and Travel & Leisure Magazine.
