Iowa Workshop Graduate, Susanna Daniel will read from her debut novel, Stiltsville, a love story about a woman who moves from dull Atlanta to a community of houses in a place called Stiltsville, built on pilings in the middle of Biscayne Bay in Miami. Daniel writes beautifully, creating  strong, believable characters in this gripping novel. If you think living in a house built on stilts in Miami is a bit of a dangerous proposition, you’re right and Susanna Daniel is perfectly capable of handling the darker aspects of love and place.
