Works by Noah Doely.

Please join us for a closing reception on
Saturday October 7th from 5-7 PM at the cafe!

This Times Club exhibition includes photographs from two bodies of work: Facsimilies and New Forms. Through physical (re)constructions and digital manipulation, each series utilizes a different method of recursive replication to transform existing objects. In New Forms, Doely digitally fragments and rebuilds a single image of a butterfly wing through a process of patterning. In Facsimilies, Doely documents wooden replicas of passenger pigeons based on archival photographs that he has fabricated himself, made only to be destroyed at the end of the project.
