Mary Wallis Gutmann

Mary Wallis Gutmann graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in Industrial Design and has worked in graphics and fashion accessories for most of her career. She was director of communications for several organizations, including Marymount College Tarrytown, and co-founded, designed, and edited a newspaper, The Enterprise, in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. Descriptive writing has played an important part in her career, and she has authored a number of short stories and several unpublished books in different genres, including memoir (which she has self-published), mystery, and science fiction.
