Nicholas Meyer is the author of three previous Sherlock Holmes novels, including the best-selling Seven-Per-Cent Solution. He is a screen-writer and film director, responsible for The Day After, Time After Time, as well as Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country among many others. He has won three Emmy Awards and four Saturn Awards. A native of New York City and former writer for the Daily Iowan, he now lives in Santa Monica, California.
